Epic Games has placed two completely different games in this week's free corner: Echo Generation: Midnight Edition and Luto. Both currently cost €0 with an Epic account and stay in your library if claimed in time. Together they normally cost around €42.
Echo Generation: Midnight Edition
A mysterious crash sends you on a supernatural journey through the small town of Maple Town. You assemble a party of children and animal companions, complete quests, uncover secrets, and fight monsters in turn-based voxel battles. The game is set in the 1990s and combines small-town nostalgia, family history, and paranormal chaos. The neighborhood seems cozy until another monster moves in behind the bins.
Luto
Luto brings much heavier equipment. This psychological horror game places you in the role of someone unable to leave their own home. Every attempt to escape leads deeper into a disturbing world where reality, grief, and perception slowly fall apart. It is less “a little relaxed horror” and more “was that door there five minutes ago?”
How long are they free?
Echo Generation: Midnight Edition and Luto can be claimed from the Epic Games Store until July 23, 2026 at 17:00. A free Epic account is enough; no additional subscription is needed. Once claimed, both remain in your library.
Swetch verdict
One charming 1990s voxel adventure with ghost problems and one psychological horror game with acute door paranoia: two very different ways to spend a free weekend with questionable sleep quality. Claim them, expand the library, and later insist that you absolutely planned to play both immediately.
